No tax dollars went were spent on this apology notice. The private mail-house, who was responsible for the mistake, prepared and mailed the below notice at their own expense. Thank you for understanding.
NO TAX DOLLARS WERE SPENT. Sorry to disappoint the cynics who claim that tax dollars were in any way used to correct this very unfortunate error. The mail-house was forthcoming correcting their error. What more could I ask?
